The Invstr logo was created using and combining the company’s essential shapes, like the chart and uprising lines.

GRID

With the grid, everything needs to be precise. Every pixel counts. So, in order to present the isotype in its full glory, the grid must be built.

The grid can be your best friend or your worst enemy if you don’t use it correctly. Isotype can be designed in grid that is symmetrical or in one that is not.

The invstr isotype is symmetrical and in that way it can show its stability and its strength.

THE ANGLE

The invstr isotype is constructed from three vertical lines. Each one of them is carved with the angle of 55° and the sides are rounded. This way it has that strong, but yet elegant structure. The angle also adds a rising effect to the isotype, giving it that feel of success and power.

<aside> 👉 The 55° angle should be used in graphic elements such as icons and buttons

LOGOTYPE

The logotype needs to follow the design and the shape of the logo. The letter shapes need to resemble the logo as much as possible. Here we can see the letter “v” and its angle and how It follows the angle of the letter “s”. Using the greater number, the letter would appear wider. And if the number was smaller, the letter would appear thinner, so the 20° is the golden middle.

This logotype is created from straight and rounded shapes. Using the best diameters, here is shown how it all looks when it’s put together.

If the diameters are used in the logo contructing, like in the forming of the word (invstr), rules need to be made. Only full numbers are acceptable.

As much as curved, straight or angled lines are making the difference, the thickness of the typography and the logo itself is very important. There needs to be some rules. As in the invstr case, thicness like (x, y, z) are used to determine the variation of the logo parts.
